After gouvernment pronounced in summer that exam classes are to go to school again in the end they didn't allow. since end of last week now classes for the p7 finally started. To do the exam for each child has to be payed a fee to gouvernment of 100.000 Uganda Shillings, this is about 25€. This doesn't sound much to us, for people there it is a lot of money, especially as many parents lost their income due to the corona lockdown. It is also hard for the children that missed a lot of classes as schools were closed, but if they decide to do it next year they would have to pay school for an other year so if they have a chance to pass they would rather opt for exam.
